Technical Presales Engineer (Connectivity and Managed Services)
The position reports to the Head, Presales Consulting.
Job Overview:
As a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer, you will handle all technical aspects of the sales cycle by determining technical requirements, matching them with the services and solutions offered by the company. You will explain the solution and offering to customers in a clear and concise format with the goal of convincing them to buy the solution and services offered.
Your work life:
- Support the sales team to secure business prospects and increase the company revenue.
- Query prospects to qualify sales opportunities in conjunction with sales team in order to accurately determine product fit, size and probability of success.
- Conduct presentations with customers.
- Assist in expanding and maximizing the sales opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis with prospect technical staff to determine technical requirements and solutions.
- Develop high-level design and architecture of prospect solutions based on appropriate sizing, resiliency and best practices guidelines.
- Leverage in house telco services and customization solution to develop services and solution for customer.
- Responsible for RFP/RFI/Proposal/HLD preparation, solution architecting and design, training, project management, guidance & planning.
- Address high volume of prospect questions and requirements in a quality driven, comprehensive manner to ensure prospect satisfaction - solutions will come from personal knowledge/experience, co-workers, knowledge systems.
- Conduct internal product training for sales staff, presales team and other organisational.
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or any related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in relevant technology (Network Services, Security Services and Cloud Services).
- Technical Skills:
- Solid knowledge of Routing & Switching, SDWAN, Cybersecurity services and Telco products.
- Good understanding in SOC services, MDR, EDR, Threat Intelligent and cybersecurity services.
- Ideally with experience in MPLS and Telco Solution.
- Ideally with experience in Wireless Solution.
- Ideally with experience in Managed Services and SDWAN technology.
- Soft Skills:
- Good understanding of customer business strategies, needs, and opportunities.
- Good communication and written skills in English.
- Got sense of urgency and capable to handle tense situation.
- Candidate with CCNP/CCDP or equivalent is highly preferred.
