Social Media Marketing Intern

This position reports to Head of Branded Content and Social

 

Job Overview:

To work together with TIME dotCom’s in-house content team in creating content across all owned social media platforms.

 

Work Life:

  • Strategise, plan and implement content strategies that are aligned to Time's business needs and goals.
  • Create and edit basic video and static content for multi-platform use and distribution including online, social media channels (Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram and Tiktok).
  • Create copy for content that is sharp, memorable and effective
  • Support video production of content on weekends/after work hours where necessary

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in content creation and social media platform management
  • Familiar with Capcut and Canva
  • Basic skills in video editing and graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro is a plus
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
  • Open to being in front of camera where necessary
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin and/or Tamil is an added advantage.
  • Has a car, willing to travel within Klang Valley when necessary
