Project Manager
The position reports to the Head, Project Manager SO Rollout
Job Overview:
To manage end-to-end Fibre Projects in the region towards achieving group targets, develop and implement continuous network improvement activities towards improving quality, meet KPI and optimise the project costs.

- Resource Management:
- Manage resources to support rollout activities and ensure timely project delivery.
- Rollout Project Management and Execution:
- Oversee and monitor appointed contractors for wayleave and permitting submissions.
- Manage Local Authority approvals through to completion of fiber infrastructure works and site terminations.
- Handle OSA and Local Authority application processes and submissions.
- Coordinate joint site visits (JSV) with Local Authorities, OSA, contractors, and utility providers.
- Act as liaison with private land/building owners to secure consent and approvals.
- Develop and maintain rollout project plans and schedules.
- Conduct day-to-day rollout planning and operational oversight.
- Identify and resolve rollout-related issues promptly.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders (customers, landlords, service providers, etc.) on planned activities.
- Forecast rollout volumes at the project level for service providers.
- Monitor project work-in-progress (WIP) inventory levels and ensure accuracy, including drop-off points.
- Maintain and update project trackers and databases for the Network Management team.
- Ensure proper project closure, including invoicing stages.
- Plan and implement risk response actions, define contingency measures, and continuously monitor risks.
- Maintain contingency plans to mitigate potential project disruptions.
- Drive customer satisfaction through effective rollout execution.
- Liaise with other functional groups and departments to gather information and achieve project accomplishment.
- Strategic Vendor Partnership
- Leverage vendor expertise by tapping into their global knowledge base.
- Practice effective vendor management to ensure delivery and compliance
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's Degree (with honours) in Electronics/Communications/Electrical/related fields. Majoring in Telecommunication Engineering would be an added advantage.
- PMP or Prince 2 Certificate would be an added advantage
- 5 to 7 years of experience in telecommunication industry.
- Good knowledge of Project Management/Business Management.
- Good knowledge of Telecommunication Network, especially on fiber OSP & Rollout.
