Product Owner
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our Retail IT team. In this role, you will work closely with product leaders, designers, and engineers to deliver high-impact digital products for our telco customers.
You will play a key role in translating product vision into actionable requirements, prioritizing the product backlog, and ensuring the development team delivers meaningful value to users. Your work life:
- Product Development & Execution
- Drive the execution of product initiatives by translating business and customer needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver features efficiently. Proactively suggest ideas and solutions to address customer and business problems, contributing to continuous product improvement.
- Backlog Management
- Own and manage the product backlog for a specific product or feature area. Prioritize tasks based on business value, customer impact, and technical dependencies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, marketing, customer support, and engineering to gather requirements and ensure alignment on product goals.
- Customer & Data Insights
- Develop an understanding of customer needs through data analysis, user feedback, and market research. Use insights to inform product decisions and improvements.
- Product Delivery
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure smooth delivery of product increments.
- Continuous Improvement
- Monitor product performance and contribute ideas to improve user experience, conversion, and operational efficiency.
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related role in a digital product environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and working with development teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and customer-centric product development.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Basic understanding of client-server architecture and web technologies (e.g., APIs)
Nice to have
- Experience in telco, e-commerce, or digital platforms.
- Exposure to analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
- Understanding of A/B testing or experimentation.
- Experience working on mobile apps or customer-facing digital journeys.
