Job Overview:

As an IP Provisioning Engineer at TIME dotCom, you will be part of a dynamic service delivery team tasked with provisioning internet, data, and IP-based services for TIME’s enterprise, wholesale, and residential customers. Your role is critical to ensuring timely and error-free service activation that aligns with customer requirements and the company’s SLAs.

 

Your Work Life:

  1. Provisioning & Configuration
    • Provision new IP services including IPv4/IPv6, BGP peering, static routes, L3VPN, internet transit, and private peering.
    • Configure network elements such as routers (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei), switches, and firewalls to activate customer services.
    • Apply VLAN, VRF, and QoS settings as per customer design or product catalog.
    • Ensure accuracy of provisioning in line with design documents, capacity planning, and IP address management.
  2. IP Management & Documentation
    • Manage IP address allocation and documentation using internal IPAM systems.
    • Update internal network databases, provisioning records, and customer diagrams.
    • Track and maintain logs for all provisioning changes for audit and rollback purposes.
  3. Quality Assurance & Testing
    • Conduct pre- and post-provisioning testing to validate connectivity and performance.
    • Coordinate with Field Ops or On-site Engineers to perform testing, including loopbacks, ping, traceroute, and BGP route validation.
    • Perform rollback or re-provisioning when required.
  4. Coordination & Escalation
    • Work closely with NOC, Project Engineers, SOC, and Service Activation teams to ensure end-to-end provisioning.
    • Act as the point of contact for technical clarifications during service handover or testing.
    • Escalate issues promptly to network engineering or operations support for advanced troubleshooting.
  5. Compliance & Process
    • Follow standard provisioning workflows and maintain compliance with ISO/network governance.
    • Suggest process improvements and automation opportunities.
    • Adhere to SLAs, KPIs, and internal change management procedures 


To be considered, you'll need:

  • Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Networking, or IT.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IP provisioning, network support, or NOC operations.
  • Familiarity with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), IP subnetting, DNS, NAT, and ACLs.
  • Experience with CLI (Cisco IOS, Junos, Huawei VRP).
  • Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 concepts and Internet technologies.
