Your work life:
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial and accounting reports for internal and external purposes.
- To perform month-end closing and preparation of monthly financial statements (P&L and BS and CF) which includes journal postings in SAP.
- To provide detail financial analysis on financial performance and position on a monthly basis.
- Experienced with MFRS15 and MFRS 16 treatment and posting.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly inter-co reconciliation.
- To prepare audit schedules and financial statements of the company.
- Manage end-to-end preparation of all documentation required for yearly audit.
- To prepare and manage payment submissions and intercompany settlements
- To support the preparation of indirect tax documentation and submission.
- To support the preparation of regulatory compliant documentation and submission.
- Liaise with internal departments, auditors, tax consultants and related statutory bodies.
- To assist on any ad-hoc task and job assigned by the superior from time to time.
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, etc.).
- Minimum 3 years of audit experience and 2 years of commercial experience, preferably in the telco sector.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong quantitative, analytical skills and business acumen.
- Technically sound and updated with IFRS/MFRS accounting and reporting standards requirements for financial reporting.
- High proficiency in Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP system would be an added advantage.
