Finance Specialist (Time Energy)
The position reports to the Finance Manager
Job Overview:
As a Finance specialist, you will be responsible for full spectrum of accounting activities including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, monitoring project cost, budgeting, forecasting, audit and tax.

Your work life:
- Manage full set of accounts Including general ledger analysis, month - end closing and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow statements and support the annual budgeting and planning cycle
- Handles project cost tracking whilst handling full spectrum of fixed assets and accounts receivable
- Manage accounts payable function, Including processing and verifying all transactions with proper supporting documentation, and ensuring payments are made in accordance with payment terms.
- Monitor stock movement and perform stock reconciliation
- Handle treasury and banking related matters
- Perform monthly financial analysis for preparation of monthly business deck to support business decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement in cash flow management, financial processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and governance
- Support internal and external audit requirements, tax submissions, and statutory compliance requirements
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other professionals to ensure compliance on all matters relating to audit, tax, compliance and statutory requirement
- Assist In other ad-hoc assignment as and when It Is required
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting/Finance, LCCI, or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CPA)
- Minimum 2-3 years related experiencee (audit / Big 4 background is strong advantage).
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Analytical, commercially aware and comfortable with responsibility.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to work and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Acceptance to a background check.
