Finance Specialist (Business Reporting & Financial Analysis)
Job Descriptions
- To prepare an accurate and timely consolidated financial management reports (P&L, Cash Flows and others) to internal and external parties
- To prepare in-depth financial analysis (by detailed products and Line of Business) and work closely with Business Owners and Finance Teams to interpret results and identify improvement opportunities
- Deliver business insights, to review and analyze the key revenue and cost drivers of each product performance and provide similar report(s) to the Business Owners for analysis/decision making purpose
- To prepare the monthly and quarterly financial performance slides for submission to Board/Management
- To prepare monthly financial rolling estimate for Profit & Loss (revenue, operating expenditures and capital expenditures) and Cash Flow
- To involve in budget control, budget utilization and variance analysis
- To involve in annual budget and planning cycle, financial modelling and prepare the relevant reports/slides to Board /Management
- To provide financial analysis support on any business cases review and/or any ad-hoc cost control initiatives across the Group
- Continuously drive processes, systems, dashboard and reporting improvement in response to the changing organizational structure and business needs. Data and systems improvement will be key for long term success
Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent professional qualifications of CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, etc
- At least 4-6 years of relevant working experience in audit, accounting/finance spectrum and business planning and performance management experience. Preferably from Big 4 audit firm
- Possess good leadership attributes and managing expectations from different stakeholders
- Strong business and finance acumen
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to think ahead, anticipate problems, issues and solutions
- Possess strong financial planning and analytical skills
- Proficiency in verbal and written communications skills especially in report writing
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Must be fluent in English
- Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) are required, and knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
