Finance Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

  • Provide cost-benefit assessment and business case to support management in decision making
  • Provide costing analysis on existing and future products
  • Manage Interco/Transfer Pricing with group entities and functions
  • Prepare profitability and return reporting on business and assets
  • Maintain sales incentive scheme

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITIONS

  1. Strategic
  • Provide financial and commercial support to Group/Holding companies in assessing high value investment or business venture
  • Align and Mediate inner interactions within between group and sales division via transfer price and sales incentive scheme
  • Track the performance of sales unit, investment and business ventures
  • Improve reporting and analysis
  • Support in planning and future forecast of business
  1. Operations
  • Monthly provision of transfer price to all sales division
  • Quarterly and adhoc maintenance of profitability or investment template
  • Annual and adhoc sales incentive calculation
  • Quarterly reporting on Group, investment and business ventures
  • Quarterly and adhoc review of Interco rules and transactions
  • Annual preparation of impairment assessment
  • Maintain pricing database and tracking for easy reference and review
  • Annual review on the costing

Requirements

  1. Qualification
  • Possess at least a Degree in Accounting, Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent
  1. Desired Professional / Exposure or Experience
  • Previous experience in pricing, especially in telecommunications and IT environment, is an added advantage

  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Ability to do programming is an added advantage
  • Ability to develop key reports
  • Able to work independently, as well as team player, to achieve objectives and result
