Demand and Capacity Planning

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end demand forecasting, port capacity planning, and overall network readiness for the fibre broadband business. It involves ensuring timely service activation in new buildings, aligning closely with sales teams to anticipate and meet demand to support business growth targets.

 

Your Work Life: 

  1. Demand Management
    • Monitor and assess readiness of new buildings for fibre broadband services.
    • Lead forecasting and planning for customer demand across residential (SDU and MDU) segments.
    • Collaborate with sales, coverage, network to ensure smooth onboarding of new locations.
    • Analyse historical demand data to anticipate future trends and align capacity accordingly.
    • Provide executive reports and recommendations to senior management on demand, capacity, and network readiness
  2. Port & Network Capacity Management
    • Oversee port availability, allocation, and utilization across the network.
    • Ensure proactive capacity planning to prevent bottlenecks and service delays.
    • Collaborate with network engineering and operations teams to prioritize capacity expansions.
    • Implement monitoring tools and dashboards for real-time visibility of port utilization and demand trends.

 

To be considered, you'll need:

  1. Qualifications & Skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or related field
    • 6 to 8 years of experience in broadband, telecom, or network operations.
    • Strong understanding of fibre broadband network architecture, port capacity, and service provisioning.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
    • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional capabilities
