Credit Analyst
Job Overview:
The Credit Analyst is responsible for effective credit management, collections, and debtor performance across assigned accounts, while also driving continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, and customer experience within the Credit Management function.

Your work life:
- Accountable for assigned customer accounts, ensuring timely collection and resolution of overdue balances.
- Proactively follow up with customers to secure overdue payments and negotiate payment solutions where required.
- Respond to customer account and credit-related queries in a timely, professional manner. This includes collaborating with sales and operations stakeholders to obtain the necessary information to respond to customer.
- Track and monitor monthly overdue and meet DSO KPIs set by Management.
- Prepare monthly ageing report and weekly collection report, analyse credit exposures, collections performance and ageing trends.
- Perform credit assessments and reviews in accordance with established credit policies and risk appetite.
- Support audits by providing accurate documentation and responding promptly to audit requests.
- Identify, propose, and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, cost efficiency, risk controls, and customer satisfaction within Credit Management team.
- Plan and drive continuous improvement projects, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement process changes and ensure successful adoption.
- Document end-to-end business processes using industry-standard methodologies
- Develop and maintain process documentation, controls, and performance metrics to track improvements and outcomes.
- Collaborate and support operational teams on new processes, systems, and ways of working.
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Education: Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent professional qualifications of CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, or CPA.
- Experience: Ideally with 3 years’ experience in Credit, Collection or Accounts Receivable Management in a business-to-business environment
- Skills:
- Credit risk and collections knowledge.

- Data-driven analysis and problem-solving skills.

- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
