This position reports to Lead, Change Management
Job Overview:
- The Change Management Engineer ensures that all Planned Event (PE) activities are executed effectively, avoiding scheduling conflicts and minimising risks to TIME’s network. This role provides advisory support to PE requestors, ensuring changes are planned, communicated, and implemented with minimal impact to service and with a focus on Excellent Customer Experience (ECE).
Work Life:
- Adhere to the Change Management process and utilise tools to guide PE requestors.
- Evaluate the design and Method of Procedure (MOP) for scheduled activities.
- Monitor and validate that Requestor executes the MOP as approved, ensuring adherence to defined steps and rollback plans.
- Develop and deliver internal communications before, during and after planned activities.
- Conduct impact and risk analysis, ensuring resource availability prior to execution.
- Collect inputs, document requirements, and provide recommendations for planned activities.
- Review and validate change management checklists to ensure compliance.
- Track and measure success metrics following activity completion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in telecommunications, network operations, or change management.
- Foundational understanding of telecommunications network architecture, network operations and change management.
- Familiarity with change management frameworks, processes, and tools.
- Strong interpersonal communication (oral & written), and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively across teams.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple requests and timelines.
- Able to perform well under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
